Grand reopening festivities began last week at the remodeled Brookshire’s Food Store, located at 601 W. Palo Pinto in Weatherford.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony featured Mayor Dennis Hooks, Chamber of Commerce President Tammy Gazzola and Rick Rayford, Brookshire Grocery Co. President and CEO . Store Director Jeff Minatra also presented charitable donations to the Senior Center, the Center of Hope and CASA of Parker County.
The updated supermarket now boasts a modern design complete with a new storefront, signage, paint and décor throughout, along with many energy-efficient and sustainable features such as polished concrete flooring and an automated lighting control system.
A fuel center was also recently added, allowing customers to redeem points earned on grocery purchases for discounts on gas.
