Theatre Off The Square in Weatherford proudly presents the first production of their 2018 Season of Shows.
Anne of Avonlea is written by Jeanette Carlisle and is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. This sequel to Anne of Green Gables (staged in the theatre’s 2017 season) is directed by Edwina Himes, with Marilyn Sanderson as Assistant Director, and Manny Garcia as Stage Manager. The show dates are January 19 – February 4.
Members of the cast are Rachael Acree as Mrs. Rachel Lynde; Charlotte Wasson as Marilla Cuthbert; Jade Hebbert as Anne Shirley; Mark Gillies as Mr. J. A. Harrison; Emma McKay as Diana Barry; Daniel Davis as Gilbert Blythe; Tatum D’Amore as Jane Andrews & Sarah Lynde; Adalay Sexton as Julia Bell; Caroline Sexton as Gertie Pye; Cameron Cutshall as Fred Wright; Jacob Myers as Tommy Gillis; Garrett Tucker as Paul Irving; & Christy Presley as Emily Harrison.
Attend an afternoon or evening of entertainment beginning Friday, Jan. 19, running weekends through Sunday, Feb. 4. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Theatre Off The Square, the only continuous live theatre in Parker County, is located at 114 North Denton Street, Weatherford.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for seniors (60+)/students/children under school age. Matinee tickets are $12 for all ages and no other discounts apply. The theatre Box Office, 817-341-8687, is open from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday evenings to purchase tickets and to reserve seats.
