The Parker County Extension Education Association invites everyone to the 16th Annual “Home for the Holidays”, on Thurs., Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The fun will take place at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church in the gym, located in Weatherford at 802 North Elm Street.
Home for the Holidays is a wonderful event filled with holiday tips and ideas to help get you into that Holiday Spirit. There will be special presentations and demonstrations by local speakers including: Holiday Baking Idea by: Kathy Smith, County Extension Agent, Creative Christmas Wreaths by Shirley Riebe, Holiday Ideas by Antoinette Reed and more. There will also be a Fashion Show presented by Parker County Extension Education Association members.
Home for the Holidays will include a festive lunch. There will be recipe and idea books for everyone, a raffle table, club gift tables, and a silent auction, door prizes and much more.
The cost to attend will be $12 per person. This will include lunch, program materials and recipes.
