Students, current and former staff members, family and friends gathered Feb. 29 to celebrate Colleyville Heritage High School’s 20th anniversary.
The festivities included the school fight song and alma mater, special videos and recognition of the nine teachers and staff members who have worked at the campus for all of its two decades. After the program, Colleyville Heritage students showed off displays highlighting the history of various organizations and sports teams.
Toni Byam-Pirotte, visual arts teacher and one of the 20-year staff members, said she has stayed at the school because of the supportive parents, students and staff.
“It’s one of the most generous, cohesive communities I’ve ever seen,” she said. “You always feel like you’re welcome.”
