Pedestrian killed while crossing Keller Parkway

A 61-year-old man was killed Friday night while crossing a major Keller road mid-block, according to the Keller Police Department.

Keller police spokesman Tommy Simmons said the pedestrian, who had not been identified as of 10 a.m. Saturday, was struck and killed by a vehicle about 9:45 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Keller Parkway. Initial reports indicate the vehicle was headed east and the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk while trying to cross the road.

Police were still investigating the crash late Saturday morning. Check back for updates.
