Trader Joe’s will open its Southlake location on Feb. 20.
The 13,500-square-foot, two-story grocery will open its doors at the northwest corner of Southlake Boulevard and Central Avenue in Southlake Town Square.
This is the second location for the California-based grocer in Tarrant County, the other in Fort Worth, opened in 2012.
The grocery will operate on the second floor, while operations and docking will occur on the ground level. A two-story parking garage was built to accompany the grocery.
Trader Joe’s is known for its 3,000 private label brand items, which features products minus preservatives and other ingredients. The grocer also claims it adds a dozen items weekly to its selection of domestic and imported items including artisan breads, coffees and more.
The grocery is across the street from other specialty grocers Central Market and upcoming The Fresh Market.
