Ongoing. The Texas Department of Transportation will be installing flashing yellow arrow signals at several intersections on Hwy. 26 beginning in mid-January. Flashing yellow arrows are the new nationwide standard for a driver to yield to oncoming traffic to turn left, and will be phased in to replace circular green signals for left turns. The flashing yellow arrows are being installed on Hwy. 26 in Colleyville at intersections with Tinker Road, Hall-Johnson Road, Church Street, Main Street, Glade Road, Centerpark and Mid-Cities Boulevard.

Grapevine

Jan. 25. Grapevine Garden Club presents a presentation by DFW Airport Wildlife Administrator Cathy Boyles on how the airport’s Wildlife Stewardship Campaign strives to minimize hazards to aircraft safety while making an effort to protect the habitat. The program is presented as part of Bird Sanctuary Week, 10:30 a.m.-noon, in the program room at the Grapevine Public Library, 1201 Municipal Way. The program is free and open to the public.
