Three people died late Saturday morning when the pickup they were in rolled over a highway embankment in Hurst, according to MedStar.
MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said the pickup wrecked near the Northeast Loop 820 and Texas 121 interchange at about 11:40 a.m. Two men and one woman, the only occupants, were pronounced dead at the scene.
They had not been identified as of Saturday night. No other vehicles were involved. WFAA News reported that a passenger in another vehicle indicated there had been hydroplaning on the highway ahead of the accident.
After the Loop 820 traffic lanes and all but one Texas 121 lane were closed for about four hours for the investigation, Richland Hills police tweeted that all lanes had reopened as of 4:15 p.m.
