A 20-year-old woman hit by a GMC pickup truck in Euless on Monday night has died from her injuries, police say.

The 41-year-old male driver of the pickup stopped afterward and has cooperated with investigators and does not seem likely to face criminal charges, police say. The woman was a pedestrian, according to the Euless Police Department.

The incident happened in the 300 block of W. Euless Boulevard at about 9 p.m., police say.

Police said the woman was crossing from the north side of W. Euless Blvd., walking south across Highway 10 when she was struck.

The woman was taken by Euless emergency services to Harris Methodist H-E-B hospital, where she died from her injuries, police say.

Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday Dallas Police responded to the call on the southbound lanes of S. M. Wright Freeway.

A pedestrian was killed when struck by a TRE train Wednesday evening. The train passengers were loaded on buses to get to their destination. (Metro Video Dallas/Fort Worth)
