With the holidays around the corner, it’s time to start cleaning and get rid of your unwanted stuff. The Environmental Services Department and Keep Mansfield Beautiful Commission are giving Mansfield residents the opportunity to dispose of unwanted, bulky items free of charge from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the new service center, 620 S. Wisteria St.
Bulky items (including couches, mattresses and box springs), junk, trash (must be bagged or you will unload yourself), scrap metal, appliances and bicycles are all accepted at the service center.
Tree limbs/brush must be dropped off at 24 N. Mitchell Road. Staff will be available to help unload your vehicle.
Due to the time constraint, we ask that you bag up your loose trash. Please remember to bring a current utility bill or driver’s license to verify Mansfield residency.
If you have gently used furniture or clothing that you would like to donate prior to the event, please take it to the Wesley Mission Center Thrift Shop, 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive.
Businesses and contractors are not allowed to drop off materials at this event and will be turned away.
