The Environmental Services Department and Keep Mansfield Beautiful Commission are giving Mansfield residents the opportunity to dispose of unwanted, bulky items free of charge from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 19, at the new Service Center, 620 S Wisteria St.
Bulky items (including couches, mattresses and box springs), junk, trash (must be bagged or you will unload yourself), scrap metal, appliances and bicycles are all accepted at the Service Center.
Tires will also be collected free of charge. With the threat of Zika and West Nile Virus, it is more important than ever to eliminate mosquito breeding sites around your home or property. Tires will accepted at the 616 S Wisteria site.
Tree limbs and brush must be dropped off at 24 N. Mitchell Road. Staff will be available to help unload.

If you have gently used furniture or clothing that you would like to donate prior to the event, please take it to the Wesley Mission Center Thrift Shop, 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive, or one of the other donation drop-off locations in town.
Businesses and contractors are not allowed to drop-off materials at this event and will be turned away.
