Get holiday decorating ideas or catch the Christmas spirit during the Mansfield Women’s Club Holiday Home Tour on Sunday.

Five Mansfield homes will be on the tour, “all decorated for the holiday,” said Kathleen Powers, chairperson for the event.

“One has a Western theme, one is a colorful home,” Powers said. “She has stuff that will knock your socks off. Another is contemporary, and one is Tuscany.”

The homeowners have decked the halls, some have even hired decorators to help, Powers said.

Tickets are $25 if purchased at Tom Thumb, 980 U.S. 287; Poured, 1601 E. Debbie Lane; and The Cellar on Main, 131 N. Main St. Or tickets can be purchased for $35 at the door of the five homes - 7208 Diamond Oaks Drive, 2301 Castle Creek Drive, 1600 Piccadilly Court, 1617 Piccadilly Court and 1 Trailside Court.

Last year, the Women’s Club tour had approximately 700 people go on the tour, which raises money for local charities and scholarships for high school seniors, Powers said.

Homes on the tour usually belong to members of the Mansfield Women’s Club or volunteers with great homes, she said.

“We’ve never had one not work out,” Powers said. “We make sure it’s an open flow. You don’t have to do huge, grand decorations to have a fun house.”
