Friends, family and residents and staff of Walnut Creek Assisted Living gathered to help Ann Spackey celebrate her 103rd birthday June 7.
Barbara Anthony, Emily Davis, Misty Gray and Jo Taylor hosted the party, which was decorated in shades of lavender and held in the parlor at Walnut Creek Assisted Living Center. Brother Dennis Vaughn of Mansfield Bible Church and Tony Anthony, who lead the church service at Walnut Creek Assisted Living each week, offered the prayer, introduced the family and welcomed more than 40 guests in attendance. Lori Anthony Thomas provided beautiful music with gospel songs and a combination of popular and country western favorites.
