Church offers class for law enforcement officers

First Methodist Mansfield will offer the Peacekeepers Bible Study on Mondays beginning Feb. 2, from 6:30-8 p.m. in room A216. Pastor Mike Ramsdell will lead this study for law enforcement officers using the book The Peackeepers by Christian law enforcement veteran Michael Dye.

Topics include work stress, becoming spiritually connected and developing a stronger marriage and family. The study is open to the whole community. The cost for the book is $15. Christ Presbyterian installs lead pastor

Christ Presbyterian Church, a church plant of the Presbyterian Church in America and first in Mansfield, witnessed the installation of Lead Pastor Chris Gensheer, who comes to the church from Santa Fe.

St. Jude plans Denim & Diamonds Casino Night

St. Jude Catholic Church is planning the third annual Denim & Diamond Casino Night at Classic Oaks Ranch at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Tickets are $40 and available at the church, 500 E. Dallas St.

First Methodist needs ESL teachers

First Methodist Mansfield is seeking volunteer teachers and assistants for the spring semester of ESL (English as a Second Language) classes.
