Walnut Ridge hosts Angel Tree

Visit the Angel Tree table in the Walnut Ridge Baptist Church foyer to choose your angel from the Angel Tree through Nov. 23, then provide with Christmas gifts to a local child. Return gifts to the Christmas tree at WRBC by Nov 30. Participate in this wonderful ministry opportunity to bless a child in the community. The church is at 1201 Texas 360.

St. Jude’s holds Bingo

St. Jude Catholic Church offers Bingo on the second Saturday of every month. Bingo packets are $25 to play 14 games. Cover all guarantee payout is $300. The hall opens at 6 p.m., with first call at 6:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. The St. Jude Parish Hall is at the corner of Graves and Dallas streets.

Bible church hosts Operation Christmas Child

Mansfield Bible Church is a drop-off location for the global initiative called Operation Christmas Child. This annual program delivers shoe box gifts, along with the love of Christ, to underprivileged children around the world. Visit www.MBCchurch.com and click on the Operation Christmas Child slide on the Home Page to get all the details from how to pack a shoe box to the days and times to drop them off at MBC. The national collection week is Nov. 17-24. Pack a box and experience the joy of giving! MBC is at 2351 Country Club Drive.

Crossroads plans class for kids with questions

If your elementary-age child has questions or wants to know more about becoming a Christian and being baptized, you can sign them up for Kids’ Connection. Celebrate Christmas with your family at one of Crossroads’ Christmas Eve Candlelight Services. Sing your favorite Christmas songs, and enjoy a short Christmas devotional from Pastor Cameron. Choose from four service times at 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m. or 6 p.m. Dec. 24, plus a service in Spanish at 6:30 p.m. Childcare for preschool and younger will be available. DivorceCare for Kids starts Jan. 20

Crossroads’ DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) begins 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 20. DC4K provides a safe, fun place where children will learn to understand their feelings, express their emotions appropriately, feel better about themselves, develop coping skills and be introduced to biblical concepts that will bring comfort.
