Community of Hope plans VBS
Join Community of Hope for Vacation Bible School from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 6-10 at 1800 E. Debbie Lane. Our VBS this year is called “Big Heart Farms –Where God’s Fruit Grows!” Based on Galatians 5:16-26, Farmers and Gardeners, Harvesters, Chefs, a good old-fashioned hootenanny band, farmhands and plenty of sprouts will make the fruits of God’s spirit come alive. St. Jude planning annual festival
The St. Jude 39th annual festival will be held this year from 1-10 p.m. Sept. 19 at the church. Great ethnic foods, crafts, rides, games, petting zoo and live music to dance the night away are planned.

The church committee is currently accepting vendor/craft applications. Last year there were more than 40 vendors. Space is limited so call the church office at 817-473-6709 or Alfredo or Mary at 817-320-1663 to get an application, or stop by the church at 500 E. Dallas St.
Mansfield Bible chills out with VBS
Ages 3 through those who have completed fifth grade, come join the adventure at Everest at Mansfield Bible Church. At our VBS this year, we will embark on an icy expedition where kids overcome obstacles with God’s awesome power. Kids will be anchored in rock-solid Bible truths that will guide them through life’s challenges.
VBS will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 13-16. Online registration at www.MBCchurch.com closes July 6; you can register at the door July 13-16. There is no charge for this event. First Methodist celebrates Independence Day
Join First Methodist Mansfield for a special day of worship on Independence Sunday, July 5. There will be worship services at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. Both services will feature patriotic music from the Chancel Choir, orchestra and the DFW Brass. Make plans to join us as we celebrate God and country. St. John hosts Everest VBS
St. John Lutheran Church will host Everest VBS from 9 a.m.-noon June 22-26. At Everest, kids discover what it means to hold on to God’s mighty power in everyday life. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Summit Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.
Kids at Everest VBS will join an international missions effort to provide relief for the people of Nepal around Mount Everest.
