St. John hosts Everest VBS
St. John Lutheran Church will host Everest VBS from 9 a.m.-noon June 22-26. At Everest, kids discover what it means to hold on to God’s mighty power in everyday life. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Summit Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.
Kids at Everest VBS will join an international missions effort to provide relief for the people of Nepal around Mount Everest.
Everest is for ages 3 (must be completely potty-trained) through fourth grade. The registration fee of $20 per child/ $35 max for a family includes a music CD per family. For more information and to register, visit stjohnmansfield.org. Online registration ends June 19. 817-473-4889.
