St. John offers family Easter event
Join St. John Lutheran Church from 10 a.m.-noon March 28 for a Special Agent Egg Hunt and Easter Investigation. Using their best high-tech operative skills, kids will examine eyewitness reports, physical proof and biblical accounts to uncover and defend the truth about who Jesus really is. Special agent games and prizes included. Egg hunt for kids in fourth grade and under begins at 10 a.m.

Galileo Church hosts Paul Creekmore, Midwest Coordinator of The Reformation Project, for God’s Wide Welcome, a seminar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 22. Creekmore teaches theological warrants for LGBT inclusion in Christian faith communities through careful and prayerful study of the Bible. Women’s Conference to feature Swope
Renee Swope from Proverbs 31 Ministry will speak about her recent novel and Bible study, A Confident Heart, at First Methodist Mansfield’s upcoming Women’s Conference from 8 a.m.-noon March 21. The cost is $35 per person.
In addition, Lisa Allen, executive director of training for Proverbs 31, will lead training from 1-4 p.m. in the Loft for women interested in leading others through small groups and Bible studies. Men’s Bible Study Fellowship to meet Tuesdays
First Methodist Mansfield will host a satellite location for Arlington Men’s Bible Study Fellowship, beginning March 17, from 6:55-8:30 p.m. In this in-depth, interdenominational Bible class, men can learn from one another and be challenged and encouraged to live for something larger than themselves. The BSF curriculum includes daily questions to encourage personal Bible study, small-group discussion and leader-led lessons. Men 18 and older are welcome.
