Keller area events coming up

Haslet Spring Clean Up

Haslet residents are cleaning up just about everything on May 30. Residents can recycle electronics, safely dispose of hazardous household waste, shred up to 10 boxes of paper and throw away large bulk trash.

The free Clean Up is from 8 a.m. to noon behind the Haslet Fire Station, 1701 Farm Road 156 South. Residents have to present a city water bill at the Clean Up.

Keller Summer Nights

The second annual Keller Summer Nights begins June 4 with free family-friendly concerts and movies every Thursday night in June outside Keller Town Hall.

Concerts begin at 7:15 p.m. and movies start at 9. The first night features music by Grady Spencer & the Work, followed by a screening of "Toy Story 2."

Keller Fishing for Fun

Kids 16 and under can fish in the pond behind Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Parkway, on June 6 from 9-11:30 a.m. The pond will be stocked with freshwater catfish, and the prizes and challenges. The young anglers are encouraged to bring an adult.
