Rising Star Banquet in North Fort Worth

The Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce will honor the top 10 students from the four Keller ISD high schools Thursday at the Marriott Hotel at Texas Motor Speedway. Tickets are $35, and the event runs from 6-10 p.m.

Limelight concert in Westlake

Limelight, a high-energy, 10-piece party band, will perform in Westlake late Thursday as part of the town’s free Masterworks Concert Series from 7-8 p.m. at 3 Village Circle.

The Killdares concert in Roanoke

Roanoke’s Oak Street Concert Series continues Thursday with The Killdares, an alternative Celtic Rock band. The free concert is from 7-8 p.m. at Austin Street Plaza, 221 N. Oak St.

Lone Star Heroes MusicFest in Keller

Country music and local beer are on tap at Shannon Brewing Co. in Keller on Friday night, where guests will notice a “Texas” motif.

Texas food, beer, athletes, music, art and more will be available for the $50 admission charge. All will go to pay off the mortgage of a wounded U.S. veteran. The festival will include an art auction, food trucks and photo opportunities with NFL and MLB players from the area. The event is from 6-10 p.m. at 818 N. Main St.

Decoration Day in Westlake

The town of Westlake will “salute those who serve our great nation, past and present” Monday for “Decoration Day,” run by the Westlake Historical Preservation Society. The event will include live music and other entertainment, free food, historical education and guest speaker Ret. Army Lt. General Ricky Lynch.

The annual event runs from 6-8 p.m. at Westlake I. O. O. F. Cemetery, 3101 JT Ottinger Road. Pets are not allowed.
