Rodeo fans will likely continue their holiday shopping Monday when Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo tickets go on sale.
Buying tickets on the Monday after Thanksgiving has become a local tradition, according to Stock Show officials. Rodeo fans typically line up in the early morning to buy tickets to Stock Show events when the box office windows open at 9 a.m. at Will Rogers Memorial Center, 3401 W. Lancaster Ave.
“Although we’ve gone digital and now allow on-line ticket purchases, seeing people lined up to buy their rodeo tickets is the reminder that the Stock Show is right around the corner,” Stock Show President Bradford S. Barnes said in a news release. “This marks our 120th year and our history is proof positive that the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is Fort Worth’s legendary marquee event.”
The 2016 Fort Worth Stock Show runs from Jan. 15 through Feb. 6.
