Fort Worth man dies after car crash in Saginaw

A Fort Worth man died about an hour after he flipped his vehicle and crashed in Saginaw Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.

George Rapp, 70, was pronounced dead at 2:05 p.m. at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website.

Earlier in the day, MedStar had responded to a rollover crash in the 600 block of South Saginaw Boulevard at 1:14 p.m., MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said.

Rapp went into cardiac arrest following the single-vehicle wreck, Zavadsky said. First responders performed CPR and he was taken to JPS in critical condition. - Monica S. Nagy
