A 26-year-old man was discovered shot to death in a home in a southeast Fort Worth neighborhood early Wednesday, authorities said.
Authorities had not released the name of the victim. MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said only that an adult male was found at the scene.
Patrol officers received a shooting call shortly before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of Ruthann Drive.
Relatives had called patrol officers after finding the body of the 26-year-old, police said.

“It does not appear to be self-inflicted,” police Cpl. Tracey Knight said in an email.
Homicide detectives were on the scene as the investigation continued.
