Eight recent Army boot camp graduates suffered minor injuries Saturday morning in a collision involving a car and two buses carrying more than 100 Army personnel on Interstate 35W.
The eight Army graduates and two people in the car, who also had minor injuries, were taken to hospitals, said MedStar ambulance service spokesman Matt Zavadsky.
About 110 Army trainees, most of whom graduated Friday, were traveling from Fort Sill in Oklahoma to Fort Sam Houston in South Texas before noon when the accident occurred, Zavadsky said.
Fort Worth officials said the buses were in a convoy of five charter buses traveling together.

“It was a chain reaction,” Zavadsky said.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of the freeway near Meacham Boulevard, a little south of North Loop 820.
The cause of the accident had not been determined late Saturday, Fort Worth police said.
