Employees of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics donated more than 200 bicycles to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign, and presented checks totaling $50,000 to charities including the Star-Telegram Goodfellow Fund, Cowboy Santas and Cook Children’s Medical Center.

The donations were announced at an annual holiday luncheon Thursday after employees paraded the bicycles through the halls of Lockheed’s west Fort Worth offices and across the assembly plant where F-35 fighter jets are being built.

The contributions, raised through fundraisers and holiday charity projects throughout the year, are coordinated by the LM Aero Club, an employee organization.
