A woman died early Monday in a car accident on I-30 in east Fort Worth.
The woman was ejected from her vehicle after it was struck by a minivan, said Cpl. Tracey Knight, a police spokeswoman. Police are still investigating, but they believe the wreck occurred after the woman’s vehicle stalled in the middle of the freeway, “possibly due to a previous accident.”
The fatality happened in the westbound lane of I-30 between Oakland Boulevard and Beach Street about 1:30 a.m.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Knight said.
