The driver of a postal service tractor-trailer was killed Sunday morning in a fiery crash on East Loop 820 just north of U.S. 287 in southeast Fort Worth, officials said.
No other injuries were reported in the wreck, which occurred just before 10 a.m. in the 4300 block of southbound East Loop 820.
Authorities reported that the truck hit a guardrail and exploded, said police Sgt. Steve Enright in an email.

Texas Department of Transportation engineers were finishing up at the scene at 6 p.m. after the bridge was found to be intact, said TxDOT spokesman Val Lopez.
All southbound lanes on the highway were reopened at 7 p.m., according to a TxDOT tweet.
Police Lt. Brandon Johnson said at the scene that it was unknown whether speed or road conditions were causes of the crash.
