If you’re heading out to the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show this weekend, don’t forget the sunscreen.
Forecasts call for sunny skies with a high of 91, which would break the record of 89 for Oct. 25 set in 1927, 1950 and 1992. Sunday’s high is expected to drop to 88, still plenty toasty for late October.
The air show features a wide range of performers, including the Bell Helicopter Fly By, classic military aircraft from the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, the U.S. Special Operations Command Parachute Team and the Shockwave Jet Truck.
The Air Force Thunderbirds will be the final and featured act today and Sunday at the show, which traditionally draws tens of thousands of spectators.
