Nine people were in custody Thursday on gambling charges after police raided a smoke shop in north Fort Worth.
Three other people also were arrested at the scene on outstanding warrants.
The business is open 24 hours, according to its website, but no one answered the telephone Thursday afternoon.
An investigation continued Thursday.
Police said citations were issued to some customers accused of gambling while others were arrested. Employees also were arrested.
Two men, David McCray, 45, and Ahmed Alsabahi, 21, of Fort Worth, face charges of promoting gambling, according to Fort Worth jail records.
Seven other people face charges of gambling. Those booked into jail Wednesday night included Arlene Rodriguez, 41, Jason Hastings, 38, Ramiro Gonzales-Cordora, 25, Bryant Soles, 38, Earl Comer, 57, Christopher Nuckolls, 37, and Jose Mendez, 62.
In addition, two other women and a man were taken into custody on outstanding warrants. Information on those warrants was not available. Those suspects were Brenda Zuniga, 40, Suzette Romero, 23, and Scott Littlepage, 50.
