Where should you go for a drink in the area? These five places lead Tarrant County in alcohol sales
After passing a ballot initiative allowing for package liquor stores in far north Fort Worth in 2016, the Alliance neighborhood is getting a new store called Liquor Land.
Located at 4940 N. Tarrant Parkway (next to the Road Runner Lube & Tune), Liquor Land is run by a division of Blazing Hospitality. Construction for the building started earlier this year, and the store plans to have a soft opening on May 27 with a grand opening on May 31.
Liquor Land will market itself as a high-end liquor store, with domestic beers and bottles of wine that can run up to $6,000. The liquor selection will also have top shelf options, and a lot of international brands.
“We’ll have a lot of international brands that none of our competitors will carry,” said Smit Shah from Blazing Hospitality. “It will be exclusive for us in the Fort Worth market.”
Since opening weekend coincides with Memorial Day, the store plans on running discount specials for its grand opening.
