30-year-old man dies in motorcycle wreck in Fort Worth

A 30-year-old Crowley man died in a motorcycle accident in Fort Worth on Saturday afternoon, according to police.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office identified that man as Da’Ron Miller.

Fort Worth officers were sent to Madrid Drive and McCart Avenue just before 3:30 p.m. on a report of a crash.

Officer Buddy Calzada said the man was speeding with a group of other motorcycle riders when he hit the back of another vehicle and lost control.

After publication of this article, several people contacted the Star-Telegram to dispute that Miller was speeding. The Star-Telegram asked police for more information and was told the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.

Calzada has asked that anyone who was a witness to the crash contact the Fort Worth Police Department’s traffic unit at 817-392-4850.
