An 89-year-old Fort Worth man with Alzheimer’s who went missing Friday was found safely on Saturday night in Waco.

Robert John Stam was last seen on Friday at 10:30 p.m. in the 5100 block of Chama Valley. On Sunday, Stam’s family said he was found in Waco Saturday night and they drove to pick him up.

Fort Worth police issued a silver alert for Stam, who was described as a white male, 5-feet-10-inches, 180 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. he was last seen wearing jeans a light blue jacket.

Stam has Alzheimer’s Disease and may become lost, the alert said.
