After bad weather caused the first day of the Bell Fort Worth Air Show to be canceled, Sunday’s show will continue as planned — for the most part.

On Saturday, air show organizers confirmed the show would resume on Sunday as scheduled. Due to the weather, however, an alternative parking plan was introduced for attendees.

According to a news release, routing to designated parking may have changed.

Once parked, a trams will take guest to the air show grounds. Gates will open and trams will begin running at 9 a.m.

The press release asked for people to plan accordingly and expect extended delays returning to parking.

The following available routes were included in the press release:

  • Sunday General and Premium Parking – Northbound I35W, exit at Alliance Blvd. and stay on the access road, turn on to Eagle Parkway and follow directional signage to General and Premium Parking. Southbound I35W, exit at Eagle Pkwy.

  • Handicap/Motorcycles/Buses – Exit at Westport, west to Heritage and follow signage to Handicap/Motorcycle/Bus parking.

  • Uber/Lyft – Exit at Westport, west to Heritage to Flightline to Aviator to Alliance Blvd. Patrons using Uber/Lyft will be expected to pay $30 for access to the show.

Organizers also suggested in the release attendees bring an umbrella and wear appropriate gear. The air show flight schedule could also be impacted given the late afternoon forecast, which includes rain.

Saturday’s pre-purchased parking passes may be redeemed for general admission parking into Sunday’s show, and Family 4-Pack food, drink and program vouchers will also be honored, the press release said.
