Police in Fort Worth were led on a high-speed chase by two suspects on Thursday morning that ended in a burst of flames in the Hurst area.
Officers were dispatched to the Walmart store at 3851 Airport Freeway in Fort Worth on a theft report about 4 a.m., Fort Worth police spokesman Jimmy Pollozani said via email.
He said two adult males attempted to commit felony theft at the store and then fled in a vehicle.
The suspects led police on a high-speed chase along Texas 121 toward Hurst, where they wrecked the vehicle they were in near the exit ramp to Norwood Drive and it caught fire.
