Three men accused of stealing about $30,000 in designer purses and about $10,000 in cash from homes across North Texas were arrested in South Carolina last week, police said.

Jairo Gomez, 24, Jesus Moulier, 28, and Victor Santana, 34, were taken into custody in Greenville, S.C., according to Southlake police.

Police had been investigating the suspects for a string of burglaries targeting Asian residents in Southlake. The burglaries continued for several months and also occurred in Richardson, Colleyville and Plano, according to a Southlake police news release.

After obtaining surveillance video of the suspects, police learned they were also burglarizing homes in Tennessee and South Carolina, the news release said.

Police arrested Gomez, Moulier and Santana in South Carolina on Nov. 23. The next day, police served a search warrant at a Mesquite home associated with one of the suspects and found the cash and purses, as well as jewelry and a stolen handgun.
