A male suspect fired gunshots during the robbery of a credit union in west Fort Worth on Monday morning, but no one was injured, police said.
Officers were dispatched on a holdup call to the Texas People Federal Credit Union in the 4600 block of Wellesley Avenue, off Hulen Street, about 10:45 a.m.
The suspect had demanded money at the bank, and then fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash, said officer Daniel Segura, police spokesman. At some point during the robbery, the suspect fired a gun, Segura said.
It was unclear if he was shooting at someone, and it was not immediately known how many customers and employees were in the credit union.

The suspect was wearing all black clothing, including a black mask, Segura said. Police were still searching for him Monday afternoon.
