A fuel spill shut down westbound Interstate 20 at Loop 820 in southeast Fort Worth for about four hours Friday afternoon, police said.
The spill was caused by a tractor-trailer truck that leaked diesel fuel about 1 p.m., said officer Brad Perez, police spokesman. The spill caused several other accidents, Perez said, but no injuries were reported.
The highway re-opened about 5 p.m.
