Two men shot through the walls of an apartment late Monday night and injured a woman in the Ridglea Hills area, according to Fort Worth police.

Police were called to the 3000 block of Lackland Road around 11:15 p.m. and found that the woman had been shot, according to Officer Daniel Segura, a police spokesman. Witnesses told police that multiple suspects were outside the front door and shooting into the apartment before fleeing.

The victim, 57, was shot in the shoulder and taken to the hospital, according to the police report. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, Segura said. No arrests had been made Tuesday morning.

The incident may be related to a shooting incident Sunday evening that left four young men injured in the 2800 block of Las Vegas Trail, according to the police report. The police department’s gang unit was assigned to the case.
