A grand jury in southwest Texas has reconvened for the case of a missing Fort Worth woman, Zuzu Verk.
Verk went missing on Oct. 12 after a date with her boyfriend, Robert Fabian, in Alpine, where she attends Sul Ross State University. Fabian remains the sole suspect in the case, CBS 7 reported, but there are other persons of interest.
The search for Verk covered more than 500 square miles, and the reward was raised to $200,000 on Oct. 31. Fabian has not been cooperative with police, according to reports.
Since then, the prosecutor called a Brewster County grand jury on Nov. 14 for testimony from witnesses and persons of interest, KWES-TV reported. It ended without an indictment or any other decision.
The same grand jury is meeting again Monday, according to reports that also say it’s unusual for a grand jury to meet multiple times, according to Brewster County officials.
Verk is from the Keller/North Fort Worth area and graduated from Timber Creek High School.
