Fat Tuesday revelry at Pappadeaux turned into a horror story Tuesday when two people were shot in the restaurant's patio area.
Duncanville police arrested Roderick Lamond Rodgers, 31, of DeSoto on Thursday in the double-shooting.
He is being held in the Duncanville City Jail on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bail had not been set as of 4 p.m. Thursday.
Police said a domestic dispute inside Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen on U.S. 67, near Cockrell Hill Road, spilled outside just after 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. The gunman shot two other men and drove away with a woman before police arrived.
A witness said on Twitter that one of the victims was shot in the back of the head.
Both victims were taken to Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas. One had been shot multiple times, police said.
Once Rodgers is arraigned, police said, he will be transferred to Dallas County Jail.
