Police have arrested a 35-year-old man accused of forcing an underage girl into prostitution in Dallas County earlier this month.

Richard Lee Dixon faces a charge of trafficking of persons, according to an Irving police news release.

The victim, a 15-year-old girl from Irving who ran away from home, was introduced to Dixon in early November, the news release said.

Dixon then forced the girl into prostitution, renting out two motel rooms in Dallas for her to have sex with clients, according to an arrest warrant affidavit, Fox 4 reported.

Dixon took nude photos of the girl and posted them on advertisements on backpage.com, the affidavit said. When the girl didn't make enough money, Dixon punched her in the face and he branded her shoulder and buttocks with a cigarette, Fox 4 reported.

The girl escaped Dixon and was found by Dallas police, according to the news release.

Police believe Dixon might have forced additional victims into prostitution. Anyone with information about him is asked to call Irving police at 972-273-1010.

Dixon was being held at the Irving Jail Thursday with his bail set at $250,000.

Fort Worth Police and the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office are looking for these 10 fugitives. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Call 817-469-8477.
