The beauty of a customizable jersey is that the options are endless — you can get any player, any number, even your own name stitched on the back.
Or, in one case, the actual words “your name.”
Daniel Barthold of Valley View said he wanted a jersey without a name and just the “00” number. But when his wife left the name section blank as she ordered, they received jerseys with “your name” on the back instead.

“We were both really bummed about it while laughing about it. I was blaming my wife and she was blaming the people who made them,” Barthold said.
They considered ways to remove the name section, even bought a seam ripper, but after the photo was picked up on social media, they decided to use the mishap for fun.
“The reaction we received was crazy and we started having fun with it,” Barthold said. “We have decided to keep the jerseys as is.”
The Dallas Stars official Twitter account replied to his tweet and said, “gotta get the away jersey too!” with a picture of a template from one of their shops.
And hey, unlike many of the Oklahoma City Thunder fans this year, they’ll never have to burn their jerseys when their favorite player leaves for another team.
