One North Texas voting location opened almost two hours late after an election judge was found dead in his Grand Prairie home Tuesday.
Precinct 4502, at the Betty Warmack Library in Grand Prairie didn’t open almost 9 a.m., when an alternative judge arrived to fill in, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said in a request for voting hours to be extended.
He is said to have died of natural causes, nbcdfw.com reported.

After a hearing Tuesday afternoon, Jenkins tweeted a photo of the order extending hours for Precinct 4502, which will be open until 9 p.m., while all others in Texas close at 7 p.m.
