Police said a man and woman committed identify theft to buy a $6,666 dog at a Petland store in Dallas.
The pricey pup, a French bulldog, was purchased in August. Dallas police sent out a photo of one of the suspects Wednesday, seeking the public’s assistance.
The man and the woman used the victim’s identity to apply for store credit at Petland, police said.
The male suspect was also spotted using the victim’s identity at a Pep Boys auto store in Garland a couple weeks later.
