An Arlington man died in a motorcycle accident on U.S. 67 in Johnson County on Sunday morning, police said.
John Stringer, 55, was riding a 2013 Harley-Davidson west on the highway in Keene, near Cleburne, when he collided head-on with a 2017 Kia Sportage SUV at about 9:20 a.m., said Keene police Capt. Dean Turk.
Witnesses told police the wreck happened as the eastbound SUV was turning left off the highway onto Wallen Ridge Road.
Stringer tried to brake and swerve to his right before hitting the SUV, Turk said.

The driver of the SUV, a 64-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital, Turk said.
No charges or citations have been filed at this time, Turk said. The investigation is not complete, he said.
