A domestic dispute Monday night left one man dead in Arlington, police said.

An Arlington man died Monday night after he was involved in a domestic dispute with a woman at his apartment, police said Tuesday.

Officials at the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the man as Gary King, 33, of Arlington.

A woman at the scene was not arrested, but detectives are continuing to investigate. Police did not say what the relationship was between the woman and King.

Officers found the woman trying to revive King, who had been stabbed. King was taken to a local hospital, where he died, police said.

Police responded to a 911 call about 11 p.m. Monday in the 2600 block of Southern Hills Boulevard.

Witnesses told police that they heard screaming from King’s apartment. Detectives learned that King and the woman had an argument.

At one point, a witness told police that King was seen dragging the woman back into the apartment as she tried to get away.

Police will hand over the case to the Tarrant County district attorney’s office, which will present the case to a grand jury.
