The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office on Sunday identified a 49-year-old man found dead outside a burning home at Hillside Oaks Mobile Home Estates in south Arlington as Richard Ball.
Ball was pronounced dead at 6:46 a.m., Sunday, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Because of explosions, firefighters had to take extra precautions as they approached the burning home in the 5600 block of Parliament Drive shortly before 7 a.m.. Battalion Chief Joe Morris told WFAA.com.
"There were explosions going off," he said. "We believe it to be ammunition. We had some rounds going through the exterior wall of the house."

Ball’s body was found about 15 feet from the front door of his home, but his cause of death was not available Sunday night.
