The Arlington Fire Department is investigating the cause of a two-alarm fire that destroyed a home on Mountain Lake Court on Sunday.
The fire was in the attic and through the roof of a two-story home, Arlington Fire Department spokesman David Tyler said.
Two firefighters suffered minor sprain/strain injuries; no civilians were hurt,
The total estimated loss was $615,000. Of that, $315,000 is the Tarrant Appraisal District’s estimated value of the home, Tyler said.
The fire, reported at 4 p.m., was under control at about 5:52 p.m. and out at about 8:23 p.m., Tyler said.
All Arlington fires are investigated for cause and origin, he said.
