Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 26-year-old man found in his apartment Saturday.
Arlington police responded to a deceased person call near noon and found Jonathan Lee Cole, according to an Arlington police press release. He died in the living room of his apartment in the 2500 block of Park Village Drive from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.
The department is asking anyone who could have information on the case to call Homicide Detective Ben Lopez at 817-459-5373. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477.
“Based upon the current direction of the investigation, detectives do not believe that this was a random act of violence,” police spokesman Lt. Chris Cook wrote.
