A man from Arlington who was missing for five days was found dead Thursday afternoon near the hotel where he was staying in Alaska.

Travis Tyre, 55, was found by search and rescue dogs behind a West Fairbanks business, according to a news release from Alaska State Troopers.

Troopers don’t suspect foul play. An autopsy will be performed in Anchorage and the investigation is ongoing.

Alaska authorities sent a Silver Alert for Tyre at 9:12 p.m. the Sunday before he was found.

Tyre was a director for “The Promise” in Glen Rose.
